Ms Anele Mngadi
Research Assistant

Anele Mngadi is a Research Assistant in the Chair for Critical Studies in Higher Education Transformation (CriSHET) at Nelson Mandela University. At CriSHET, Anele contributes to the aims of the Chair, especially in her capacity as part of a team that is dedcated to undergraduate and postgraduate student development.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology, a BA (Hons) in Political Studies and currently, she is pursuing a Masters degree in the same field. Her MA research is a study of the comparative practices of multiculturalism in two countries through the lens of Critical Multiculturalism as its theoretical foundation. Her research interests include the politics of gender, identity politics, African politics, as well as post-colonialism as a study of cultural legacies of colonialism.
