Nelson Mandela University recently hosted the Transdisciplinary Ocean Sciences and Ocean Sustainability Activism Symposium (May 2026), a two-day gathering bringing together researchers, activists and postgraduate students around ocean sustainability, indigenous knowledge and coastal justice.
